The boil water notice issued for the Apple Valley Foothill County Water District on August 20, 2025, is now lifted following the results of water tests that concluded no contamination is currently present. 

Customers no longer need to boil their tap water for consumption or to use bottled water.  

The boil water notice was issued as a precautionary measure following the collection of water samples from our water well no. 2.

The District, in conjunction with the State Water Resources Control Board, determined that the water is safe to drink through abatement of the health hazard and comprehensive testing of the water. 

The District conducts regular water sampling and quality testing throughout the distribution system to ensure the safety of the water delivered to homes.
